It's been at least two days since we last contacted you - we hope you haven't missed us too much :)
However, this is the penultimate introductory email we're going to send you though, so listen up, it's a goodie... we've got some ideas for you on how you can promote and grow your brand new Blogs.mu site.
Well, first up you should know that in terms of SEO, we're giving it all we've got on your behalf! Not only have we created sitemaps and submitted them to the engines, but we're also optimizing your pages, creating tag clouds to highlight your content and promoting the heck outta your site.
Except if it's set as private, in which case we're doing none of the above.
So, this is where you come in, if you're after new bloggers for your site, have you considered:
- Emailing everyone you know and asking them to promote your site to other people (don't be afraid to ask!)
- Posting links to your site in relevant forums and comment threads which might be frequented by people who are interested in joining your site
- Approaching other bloggers directly (via their contact forms) and telling them that you can now host their blog for them, for free (if you so choose :) and offer them all sorts of goodies!
And if you're after new readers:
- Be sure to promote your posts far and wide (forums, comment threads, email and more)! And make sure that you are focusing on people who are likely to share your content with others (established bloggers or Twitter users, for example)
- Write in a style which encourages people to share your content - for example:
* Top 10 lists
* 'How to' posts
* X reasons why...
