Dear rosi

if you sell, or are looking to sell third party products on your WordPress Blog, then chances are you're going to need to join a merchant's affiliate program. You can do this directly but generally you'll do it via an affiliate network.

Acceptance onto the affiliate program means you'll be able to sell a vendor's products and make commission, perhaps utilizing the data feeds we've recently discussed.

But being accepted onto an affiliate program isn’t always straightforward. Rejection costs you time and effort.

In today's post we welcome our first ever guest blogger, Joe Sousa, a super affiliate and seasoned user of data feeds.  Here Joe will share with you his top tips for receiving the green light from a merchant or network to join their program and so get access to products and datafeeds.

Even if you haven't built your sites yet, using Joe's tips you could still get approved!  Read on to find out how.........!

Video Demo: How to Build an Online Store from Data Feeds

Email not displaying correctly? View it in your browser.
BlogPiG
Dear rosi

earlier in March Gary did a live online demo of how to build an online store - from scratch - using a data feed and CSVPiG.  The webinar was hosted by the large US online retailer, Football Fanatics, who have a product catalog of over 165,000 items available via data feed.

Football Fanatics have kindly shared the recording of the webinar with us and we can now share it with you.

As well as seeing two stores being built realtime, if you watch the video you'll also get to hear some questions and answers, like:
  • Will Google consider the catalog product descriptions you publish to be duplicate content?
  • Can you upload multiple datafeeds into one blog?
  • How much server space do you need to host data feed based stores?
  • What's the best way to manage a huge product catalog?
  • Does CSVPiG work with other sources of content?

On top of the great insight this webinar can give you into building online stores from data feeds, at the end of the video is the craziest offer we have ever come up with.  The offer will end at midnight PST Wednesday 23rd March and there will be no exceptions. Really.

You can watch the video and see the full blog post here. (Make sure to watch it in full screen mode so you can see the details).

We hope this video demo provides a bit more of an insight into data feed marketing for you.  Later this week we have a 'super affiliate' guest posting for us with key advice on how to get approved by networks and merchants for their programs....and so get access to those data feeds!

Let us know what you think!
Kind regards,
Fiona

Five Tips to Avoid the Content Farm Scythe

Email not displaying correctly? View it in your browser.
BlogPiG
Dear rosi

Something our members have asked us to comment on recently is Google’s latest algorithm update and how BlogPiG products stand in light of it.  Given here at BlogPiG we produce ‘PiGs’, it does seem apt that I should write about a Google update labelled as the ‘Farmer' in any case.

In today's blog post I offer you five tips for combatting the Google Farmer update.  I look at:
  • Some of the footprints Google expects to see from automated websites and how you can eliminate them from your own blogs
  • Some pro-active signals you can give the Big G to indicate your site has good content
  • One aspect we feel you don't need to worry about anymore
Read on to find out how you can dodge Google's scythe.....

Look forward to hearing your thoughts on this subject - it's an emotive one!

All the best,
Fiona

Email not displaying correctly? View it in your browser.
BlogPiG
Dear rosi

a number of our BlogPiG members have expressed an interest in learning more about data feed marketing.

Tonight at 18:30 EST,  Gary will be doing a live demo of how to build an online store using a merchant's data feed and our own data feed import plugin, CSVPiG.  This webinar is being hosted by Football Fanatics, who have a product catalog of over 150,000 items! That's one big data feed!

Gary will take a data feed from Football Fanatics and turn it into an online store in front of a live online audience.

There are four reasons you should watch this webinar:

1. You'll get to see a live demo of how to build an online store in Wordpress from a data feed - from absolute scratch

2. There will be a live Q&A with Gary

3.  At the end of the webinar there will be a one off special offer to buy CSVPiG at a great discount

4. If it all goes wrong, you can throw virtual tomatoes at Gary

To register for this event, please click here Space is limited so if you can't register today or the time is not convenient, fear not, we will post a link to the archived version.

I am off to ply Gary with more coffee as the demo starts at 23:30 GMT so he needs to stay awake and alert for some time yet!

Wishing you a productive day,
Fiona

P.S. We hope this demo will help unravel some of the mysteries of data feed marketing for you!  More on data feed marketing will follow soon!

CloakPiG V2 Release and Price Increase

Dear rosi

CloakPiG V2 Release and Price Increase

Folks,

CloakPiG 2.0 has been released today!

We have done a huge amount of testing on this latest release but as ever we cannot replicate every scenario you will use CloakPiG in. If you have any problems rest assured they will be patched quickly. Those of you with a lot of sites to update may wish to wait a few days before upgrading, but it’s your call.

We’ve also now included most of the usage instructions as tooltips within the UI. I’ll update the knowledge base to reflect the latest changes this week.

98% Conversions

CloakPiG is now our best-selling product.  In February, 98% of the people who tried the product for seven days went on to buy the lifetime license. This statistic sums up just how powerful CloakPiG really is and how simple it is to set up and use.

Zero Refunds!

We’ve also haven’t had a single refund request yet on the full license (ok, except for the 2 people who accidentally bought it twice). CloakPiG just works!

CloakPiG 2.0 includes two fantastic new features we’ve already mentioned to you:

Pagerank Hoarder

Everyone knows that too many external links on your site lowers your pagerank. People often attempt to use nofollow tags to 'sculpt' pagerank and prevent Google following external links. In our experience this no longer works very well and Google has pretty much admitted that it now follows nofollow (go figure!).

The only sure way to preserve 100% of your pagerank is to have NO external links on your pages but that means no clicks, no affiliate offers and no payday right….?

CloakPiG's new Pagerank Hoarder technology will identify when Googlebot is visiting your site and display your pages with NO external links.

BUT when a human visitor is identified CloakPiG displays all your links as normal (auto cloaked of course) so you get clicks and of course GET PAID!

Auto Keyword Linking

This powerful new feature will automatically link ANY keyword ANYWHERE on your site to a link of your choice.

You can of course add keywords and links manually to the CloakPiG DB if you really want to but who wants to do that? :)

Instead CloakPiG builds your own auto keyword list every time you add a new link anywhere on your site. ANY other occurrence of the same anchor text in all previous and future posts/pages will then be automatically linked to same url.

You can also export & import your auto keyword lists across all your blogs for hundreds of cloaked affiliate links…

Instant Monetisation!

Price Increase

For those of you who had purchased versions 1.1 or 1.3, you can now download 2.0 at no extra cost. Yay!  Anyone who purchases CloakPiG v2.0 after 11:59pm EST today will be charged $7 for the trial and $77 for a lifetime license.

For your last chance to purchase CloakPiG 2.0 at the bargain current price of $47 (plus $7 trial) please click here.

Thanks and enjoy our best-selling product!

Fiona
